Clear rules for refunds and cancellations across GiftM subscriptions, gift cards, and reward purchases.
This policy covers refund and cancellation rules for three categories of charges on the GiftM platform:
Monthly plans: cancel any time from the dashboard. Service continues until the end of the current billing cycle; no pro-rated refund is issued for unused days.
Annual plans: cancel any time but no refund is issued for the unused portion of the annual term unless required by law. Service continues until the term ends.
Setup or onboarding fees (Enterprise only): non-refundable once delivery has begun.
Gift cards are non-refundable once issued, except where:
Approved cancellations within this window result in a full refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
Issued and claimed gift cards cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another recipient via the Transfer API up to the card expiry date.
If a digital gift card fails to deliver due to a verifiable GiftM issue (e.g. provider outage, undelivered email through no fault of the recipient), we will:
Bulk B2B orders booked under Net-15, Net-30, or Net-60 terms can be cancelled before fulfilment by writing to procurement@giftm.com with the PO number. Once any portion of the order has been fulfilled (cards minted, delivered, or scheduled within the 24-hour window), only the unfulfilled portion is cancellable.
Loyalty points are not refunded but are reversed automatically if a redemption transaction fails. Successful redemptions follow the gift-card rules above (Section 3).
Gift cards inactive for more than 12 months are marked dormant; balances unclaimed for a further 24 months may be escheated as required under applicable PPI regulations. Holders are notified ~30 days before either transition. Escheated balances cannot be refunded.
If you believe a charge is in error, write to billing@giftm.com within 30 days of the invoice date. We will investigate and respond within 10 business days.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via email and the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect.
